The Academy For Science and Design is a public charter school located in Nashua, New Hampshire. The Academy is tuition-free for New Hampshire residents. ASD opened in September 2007 and is currently serving 500 students from over 40 New Hampshire communities in grades 6 through 12.

We got called out in the ALS ice bucket challenge! Our $500 donation for July goes to the ALS Association of Northern New England, a chapter of the national ALS association. While the national office works on research and advocacy, the Northern New England chapter focuses primarily on on helping local patients living with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis and their families.

The Keyes Park Expansion Project is an initiative taken by the Recreation Commission of Milford, NH towards expanding and, in turn, protecting Keyes Memorial Park against further shut downs. As it is, Keyes is a wonderful community center complete with a playground, baseball and softball diamonds, a skate park, a soccer field, tennis courts, and much more.
The Milford Recreation Commission is committed to being the advocates for the people of Milford in promoting recreation and leisure activities for all ages and interests.
The mission statement of the Boys & Girls Club of Souhegan Valley is “to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to be great today and reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens tomorrow.” Each year, over 900 members are welcomed. They reach thousands of people through their special events and activities, and their programs are changing children’s lives everyday. The community leaders of the future are learning and growing at the Boys & Girls Club today, and Sanford wishes them luck in continuing to better tomorrow’s world.
The Grapevine’s mission is to promote family and community health and well-being through support, education and the sharing of resources.
The Grapevine Family & Community Resource Center, located behind the Tuttle Library in Antrim, NH, serves the people of Hillsborough County, with a focus on Antrim, Hancock, Bennington, Francestown and nearby towns. The Grapevine is a member of Family Support NH, and received the 2006 Smith Award for “Excellence in Service to Families” in a statewide competition sponsored by the NH Children’s Trust Fund.
United Way of Greater Nashua conducts a periodic assessment, which identifies the greatest areas of need in the community. Through our Community Impact Fund, we provide funding to the best programs that fill those needs and insure that measurable outcomes are achieved.
New Horizons is an adult homeless shelter, a soup kitchen, food pantry and operates Angie’s Shelter for Women. Our Mission is to provide food and shelter to the people in need and offer supportive services to achieve self-sufficiency.
The Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire is a non-profit organization, incorporated in 1904, with the mission to protect, rescue & adopt animals to the public. The ARLNH receives no Federal or State funds for support and is solely dependent upon fundraising events and private donations to support its cause.
Milford Middle School Music Boosters
MISSION: To support the students and directors of the Milford Middle School Music Program The Boosters are a non-profit group run by the parents and guardians of students currently enrolled in the Middle School music program. The Boosters assist the school’s music directors by: assisting with concert nights, helping coordinate chaperones for music events, purchasing band equipment as needed, subsidizing the Great East Competition/Field Trip, and providing partial scholarships for summer music programs.
